what size racestars will fit 08 gt500?

Looking to buy a set of drag wheels for my 08. What 15 inch wheel size/backspacing do i need to clear the brakes on my car? I dont want to run spacers and i heard race star makes a wheel that will clear both front and back. I already have the rear swaybar relocation kit installed. What wheels will fit without modification? Thanks.

Thanks, but I don't see a 7.5" backspacing listed on their website. The closest I see is a 15x10 with 7.25" backspacing. Where do I find the wheel with the 7.5" backspace? Also are you sure the fronts will fit? Reason I ask is because I had a set of 17x4.5" greg weld drag star style rims off my old 03 cobra I tried to fit on the front of my 08 and they would hit the caliper. Even tried them with a 1/4" spacer and they still would hit. It appears the race star wheels are a similar design as the greg welds, so I want to be 100% sure they will clear before I order them. Also will a 15x8 with 5.5 BS work for the rear?

My exact setup. Actually just got back from getting them mounted and balanced. The 17 X 4.5 Racestars fit fine over the GT500 front brakes.

Maybe theirs is a 7.25"

Yes, your cobra rims have a different offset and design.

Call them if u r unsure.

The ole' faithful", MT ET Drag - 28 x 10.5 x 15s (stiffwall).
