My buddy is looking at a car to buy and wanted to know what size blower is this?

It’s a Whipple. If stock hood it’s likely a 2.9 but the case looks longer so 3.4/4.0 are the next options.
Can’t really tell much from this pic other than it doesn’t look clean. Modded and filthy means I walk.

Look at the “shiny” top part of the case. You’ll see the model number listed as the first three digits of the series. Such as this:

Cervini hood, can see the casting at the top of pic.
Agree. Dirty and heavily modded. I wouldn’t even think about it. Unless it was a great price and the guy was willing to let a tuner of my choice verify the tune.
