Just kinda wondering who's or what people are launching their cobra's at on the drag strip? I'm usually around 4500-5000 Rpm(stock Clutch and still holding) when i leave, with a best of 1.51 60ft. Car gross weight with driver-3660lbs..... no driver-3528lbs.
Best 1000ft time is 9.10@112 and this weekend is the last test and tune. Thinking about turning it higher, and putting in a little more timing, and running higher octane fuel(100 unleaded). I would like some info please!!

I have to take off from idle like a grandma at a stoplight. I tried to leave at 2k with some heated up DR's and still killed them.

1.93 short 11.6 at 124. Need some ET streets for my next trip to the track.

I also have 4.10 gears, and at 80mph on interstate, put it in 3rd and it will spin until you let of the gas, 295/35/18's. I hate street tires, my dads stock 04 cobra will bet me on the street just because i can only drive half throttle! Any ideas on a tires i can put on my chrome bullets, to actually take off alittle, and not spin until 110mph?

DFX is holding with dumping the clutch @ 6500 with 10k on it. Best 60' is 1.34

lol, you f'n nut. sick picture. i'm gonna have to grab some of those e/t drags. what is your suspension set up if you dont mind me asking??

my best: irs w/ bf brace and bfg 275/40/17 drag radials slipping the clutch at 4500 rpm - consistent 1.72-1.74 w/ best of 1.70

i've since installed a built solid rear. i'm hoping to get the 60's at least into the low 1.5's with the e/t streets or drags

Stock clutch, BF brace, ET streets 26x11.50x16 @ 12psi.

Launch around 5200-5500rpms getting me 1.76-1.82 60' consistantly.

Last time at the track I was launching around 5600-5900rpms and got a 1.70 and 1.71' 60' here.

Ok guys, I used the search to find this so maybe you guys can help me!

I have 4.30's in my car, with eibachs, shocks/struts, that's it for the rear end and suspension. (I have a 98 cobra with most bolt ons, headers, x, pipe, magnaflows, CAI, that's it)

I have the chance to get 26" e/t drags and I really need to know what king of RPM's I should launch at, and do I have enough HP to turn those damn things. Thanks for any help!
