As the title says, which one do you use/prefer when it comes to cutting and editing videos?

I want to start messing around with one and learn. Which one would be a good one for a noob to start with?

if anyone has a download link feel free to pm

I have used final cut pro to mess around with and it has suited my needs really well.

Most of the editors will get you to the same end. Some do things differently to get there though. If you're primarily doing linear movie type stuff and you aren't compositing, Premier is really intuitive for beginners.

For my day job I use Sony Vegas because it's compositing features make life a lot easier. It's in-suite audio processing also removes a step that with Premier you don't have. With Premier you will need to edit audio outside of the program an import it back in.

I've not worked with final cut pro so I can't pass any judgement on it.

Really though, get a demo of all of them and figure out which one you want to go with for yourself.
