I've searched but didn't find any answers. I'm assuming 80-90 gearlube. Just wanted to see what others were putting in there. I have to reseal the diff and put the brace on and i just wanted to get the oil before I started.

don't use 80W-90

it uses 1.45 quarts of 75W-140 synthetic gear lube (GL-5 rated) with a bottle (4 oz.) of Motorcraft XL-7 friction modifier

1.45 is a new fill spec; a refill after draining should be done as follows:
Fill 6 mm to 14 mm (1/4 inch to 9/16 inch) below bottom of fill hole.

always add the FM first (after shaking bottle for a minute to suspend the additives)

the only lower viscosity I would use would be 75W-110, which is available from some specialty syn companies like Amsoil
