someone explained this to me once before, i think it has something to do with the IRS suspension and clearance issues. 2005+ wheels should work on a solid axle SN-95... but dont quote me on that...

If the bolt pattern is the same, then that really only leaves the backspacing/offset. Pretty sure the stock cobra wheels are +26 offset. Not sure on the newer stuff.

Offset - Distance from the wheel center-line (CL) to the wheel mating surface - greater positive offset moves the tires inward (narrower track)
