What kind of exhaust do you have on your S197 Mustang?

I have an manuel with Bassani mufflers and an off road x-pipe. However, since hers is an auto, go with Borla Stingers. My cousin has an auto with those and it sounds great.

it'll be hard to make her S-197 sound like your cobra but if you want her to have some thing thats going to sound beautiful. Borla s- type stinger with a mac prochamber

I'm waiting for mine to show up but it's a Pypes O/R X with SLP Loudmouths. Should sound pretty good. One guy described the setup as "loud enough to wake the dead."

When I was running the SLP X-pipe with cats and SLP Loudmouths, it was EXTREMELY LOUD! The exhaust note didn't have any tone to it though. I have since put SLP Loudmouth II mufflers on the car, but I do miss the rawness of being basically straight piped.

This is NOT my car but I managed to find one with the same setup that I'll have on this weekend. I was expecting it to be loud but I was blown away when I heard this.

I am probably in the minority here but I LOVE the Corsa RSC Touring exhaust combo with long tubes. I have the Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers right now but the Corsa is my goal, Corsa is just do damn expensive!! Here's a clip!

Don't mind the gay-ass music in the beginning.

I love the mid-muffler. I made my own version using magnapaks. This video was with a pypes O/R X. I have since clamped in the stock cats and it made it a little too quiet.

I will be changing mine as soon as I can find a decent shop around me. Right now I just have muffler deletes. I have a Magnaflow x w/ high flow cats that I am going to mate with either some M80's or I may try a chambered muffler.

Had slp loudmouths on my old 06, I loved them

Can anyone confirm if the 2010 mufflers are louder or different than the older GT mufflers?

I have a 2008 Mustang GT with the Roush Extreme Performance Off-Road Catback exhaust system that sounds great! I'm currently looking for an x-pipe just not sure what to get. Any Suggestions?

Man I am glad so many people here like the way their cars sound. I wish I could say that. I have a 10 Roush Hammer making about 600 ish hp and Pypes Super System with cats. I HATE THE DRONE!!! If this is the norm for this exhaust I don't know how they ever sell any of them. It sounds good out back but inside the car it is miserable. It makes me not even want to drive the car out of town. I have to come up with something else soon!!!

^ Try the Spintech Axleback, don't see them to often but I don't believe they drone bad at all. Or you can always go with the reg Magnaflow.
