Sold the COBRA and built a jeep for some off-road and street fun.

Bought a 1985 CJ7. It already had a 4.3 GMC v-6 W motor in it from a 1993 Van. The jeep is setup for rock crawling and running in the dunes.

I put in a t-5 and a world class transfer case, 4:10's, air locker in the rear, bed liner in the entire tub, new rims and tires, hot rod flats flat black, powder coated full cage with the seats tied into the cage and all of the factory gauges work and the speedo is spot on. Along with other bits and pieces.

The stereo needs to be installed and I need to get my front and rear bumpers. The long term plan is a LS-6 and a automatic.

When it came home.

As it sits now.

complete opposite from a cobra...

Sure is, I had a sand rail and we have quads. Had another kid and needed a bigger daily driver, so I sold the COBRA, bought a 300C and built this. Something I can still drive on the street but if I decide to go off-roading it's built for that also.

The need for speed is still a void in my life but I found other ways to fulfill my adrenaline factor.

looks good man. May be opposite from the cobra, but just as much fun in a different way. No doors and no top and being able to go anywhere is a good feeling. I have a 93 YJ and never thought I could love something so slow, clunky, and loud but I do.

lol at slow, clunky, and loud.

I could see myself getting some kind of off road vehicle someday, certainly a different kind of fun than a sports car though.

Nice Jeep OP, I like what you've done so far.
