What is the best replacement tires to go with?

I have over 16k miles on the stock F1's and I am going to need tires soon. What does everyone suggest as the best replacement tire?

I only want 275/40s so I wont have fitment problems...

There has to be something better than the F1's for the price if not cheaper... F1's on discounttiredirect.com are going for $238.00 each...

I just got the Eagle F1 GS-D3's in 275/40/17 for $165 each at discounttiredirect.com. Ask for SVT discount and all 4 delivered to your door for $706 (to NC that is). I think regular price on this tire is $180 - $185 each. They are much better at gripping than the stock tires I can tell you that, and handling seems just as good to me. I've heard they will be great in the rain also, but I rarely drive in rain so not that important to me. Good luck....
