What is IAC?

did search but nothing...what does IAC stand for? my idle is rough and i replaced my TPS and they said to chech my IAC???:shrug:

Idle Air Control...helps control your idle obviously ahaha

Im new to this... I had a mechanic that always work on my mustang gt for years, but he passed away. so now i have to start working on my own cars now,you can say Im just learning:shrug:......sorry
can you tell me where its located? I already replaced the TPS. Im just trying to find out why it idles like crap.

its on the upper intake manifold ... do a part search on the web for a pic ..and then you should be able to locate... also try getting a haynes manuel very helpful i use mine all the time ..

Yeah get a haynes manual it will be very helpful if you are new to working on these cars.
