I have a lower intake that I bought several years ago and I'm trying to figure out what it is. I know it's a 4.6 4 valve intake, just not sure for which. The part number is XR3E-9S455-AC.
Some of the searching I did leads me to believe that it's a pre fix '99 Cobra lower intake. If so what is the difference between the before and after fix intakes?
Is it worth it to port/polish the pre-fix intake if I go with '03-'04 heads? Or should I look for the post fix intake?
If it works out I'll use it if/when I go to '03-'04 heads and use the '96 upper with an adapter plate.:banana::rockon:
