What does it take to put an 03 Cobra over 500rwhp...

What is the most power an 03 Cobra can make with the stock eaton and no N20. What are the basic mods people usually do, including halfshaft stuff etc to run deep into the 11s?

Just curious because I might part out my GT for an 03.

Thats a great question, I don't know for sure what will get you that high, but basics are catback (or headers back if you want more power) some cai setup, TB, chip/pulley ect... Its a good place to start.

How much power are we talking about, and what kinda 11s.

As my GT sits with the current project Im looking to make 550rwhp and see high 10s. Id like to make close to that if I could even though my GT has the weight advantage.

592rwhp is the highest Ive seen so far. There is alot more left too.

I went 11.25@122 with the following mods..no tricks
123.78 is my best MPH


Dyno # 473/486whp
UPR Xpipe
MAC 3" Catback
2.80 Upper
100mm Idler
Diablochip9" AFE Filter
275/40/17 BFG DR's @ 14psi
Pro 50 shifter
misc stuff...non worthy of mentioning

**GOOD DRIVING***
If you cant drive.......power isnt gonna do you a damn thing. Not to be cocky, this car cant be driven any better then what I have drove it. It boils down to the track more than it does me.



Added Apten and makes 500whp+ heatsoaked now....should run into the low low low 11's high 10's on the blower @ 125-126 then the n20 should get fun. No track times till june...waitin on da cage.
