What do they use when making internet videos?

I mean the vids with the music and titles. Is it the camera or software on a computer? I hope to be able to make some vids soon.

Windows Movie Maker is a free download, and pretty good to learn the basics on. Other programs cost money.

Everyone I know uses Adobe Premier. It's expensive, but not all of them paid for it...
