Used to have a mystichrome, sold it a few years ago.
These will be going on a sonic blue, that’s why the purple has me a little nervous.

Made it this morning again to the monthly Cars and Coffee at Cooks Garage with my oldest. Parked along the side of a beautiful '66 FB with complete swap from 2015 GT. Interior too wrapped in some nice leather.

Love those trucks. I’m out here in Midland most of the time now, so once it’s done I’ll definitely bring it up to one of their shows.
Test fit the Volvo power steering pump where the cruise control module used to be. Looks like it will fit behind the splash guard without removing the mounting ears. Ideally I would like to use the existing holes or the CC module just opened up with rivnuts for the new mounting bracket. The car will be running a gen 2 coyote control pack so P/S and CC is electric. This will make swapping the cobra motor out eventually for a voodoo much simpler.

This one was Friday-Sunday. I think it was a test to see how it would go on the west coast. An article I found said 1200 cars showed up on Friday and there were 700 long haulers. There weren't many stops. They had a stop about mid way between socal and Vegas to do a mini poker run. One going to Vegas and one coming back. They have us a couple chips. One if which we turned in for a hat. We got a couple plaques for being in the long hauler crew. I met Lucky and Alex from Hot Rod Garage. Saw some cool cars. And had a good time with my friends. I wanted to run at Pomona since it was the first drag strip I raced on, but I have a hub bearing making some noise so I decided against it.
I have the hoodie. I think they did a good job on the picture.
