It totally depends on your vehicle setup, power and whether or not you just plan on a few HPDE events a year or something more serious like a full time road racing schedule, in which case you have the wrong car. ;-) Also, is the car street driven and how much?

I have had great success with a SPEC 2+, Aluminum flywheel, and Low Pedal Requirement option. The car is street driven most of the time, several HPDE events a year and needs to be wife friendly when she drives it. The car has the standard power mods and makes 535/542 along with the 26-spline update. I debated about the SPEC 3+ but it would have been money down the drain without additional power mods.

Great point. Mine is a street car first and fore most. I just did my first HPDE and I am hooked. Just want to set it up best for that type of stuff. I know it's not the best track car but its what I love to drive.
