Hey, for those of you doing the Amature Radio thing, what book would you recommend I get. I'm looking to get my technicians license (for now), and I have no clue where to start. I kinda browsed the ARRL website, but it's kinda jumbled. I know the test isn't that hard, but I figure it'd probably be a good idea to have a reference anyway.

Can you find a local Ham Radio Operator in your area to help you out. Maybe do a search for "VEC Exams"
Ameco used to put out a book about getting your license.
Or just drive around and look for the biggest goddamn antenna you can find on someones roof and ask them.
