what are differences in power gains from midpipe change or catback?

I'm trying to find out which returns the best performance increase, adding a catback or adding the midpipes with xpipe/high flow cats. Currently my car has a a stock exhaust with welded in magnaflows. Due to the fact that i like the way it sounds, i've been thinking of adding the complete catback to the car and replace the weld-ins. (or just leave the weld ins in place and just install the tailpipes)

Does the midpipe section with high flow cats generate a healthy return of power from the factory exhaust? The factory cats look absolutely horrible for good flow, but it may flow better than it looks, i've heard the tailpipes have plenty of kinks and poor flow as well and benefit from replacing with a catback.

My car has had the JLT intake, MGW shifter, and recently added a 2.80 upper, MAFia, and a custom tune on the dynojet and can switch between a street tune and a track tune using the SCT x3. Current power is 434hp 431tq. Looking to get somewhere over 450 with a exhaust upgrade.
