West Coast Road Trip: Phoenix > Las Vegas > Los Angeles!!! end of March!

Hey guys,

I'll be doing a little Road Trip the last week of March.

So far, I've got a flight into PHX on Monday, 3/27 from there I'll be heading out to Las Vegas for a day via the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. In Vegas I plan to tour the Shelby facilities, spend five minutes at the strip, and proceed to my destination in Southern California.

I'll spend three days in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego area.

Anything going on the end of March? Would people recommend places to visit? Anybody know anyone at Saleen so I could do their facility tour as well? Please let me know...

Petersen Automotive Museum in LA is pretty cool.
the San Sylmar Museum (Nethercutt collection) in Sylmar is amazing! MUST write for tix in advance.

at the Saleen store in Irvine you can test drive any new Saleen vehicle except the S7. i recently test drove the Parnelli Jones edition there.

on Sunday, the 31st, you can stop by the cars n coffee meet in Calabasses (1 hour northwest of downtown LA) to see a HUGE gathering of amazing cars.

thats about all i can think of at the moment....

I didn't know that about Saleen

I've contacted them about a possible visit and they have yet to get back at me
