Went to the D.C. Auto Show today

It sucked.

I could have visited my local car dealers and seen everything that was there.

No Ford GT, which I didn't really expect cause it is so new. No Mustang GT350. No Focus RS. No Acura NSX. There was a Hellcat Charger but no Challenger. I think the Charger looks better anyway. Chebrolet did nice job bringing the Z06, but it was a vert and I would have rather seen the hardtop. They also had the new Z28 which I have to admit looks good except for the cheesy front splitter.

I feel like I wasted my Saturday afternoon. I had a better time taking my family to Maggie Moos later for ice cream.

When I went last year it was nothing but kids sitting in the seats of vehicles I was actually looking to buy. While their parents walked around dreaming and not caring about their children

The wife and I would make a day of it, go out to lunch etc. We both felt that last years show was disappointing and decided to skip it this year. Sounds like it was a good decision.
