I substituted my 9" CAI cone out and put in a 5.5" cone that has a mouth at the end that turns into the cone and offeres additional 2.5" surface area inside the cone. Also the outer diameter of the new cone is 0.5" inches larger in circumference at both ends of the cone over the old cone.
Would there be any significant difference in the volume or rate of air flow through the filter or would they flow about the same volumes or rates of air? Would it affect my A/F tune since I tuned with the 9" cone?
If some opinions could get rendered before noon tomorrow I would appreciate it since I have a dyno session tomorrow.
