Went from 4.10's to 3.55 first time to track since swap NEW PB

ive been times that are in sig but was going 31 spline so i though i would put 3.55's back in and see what happend.
i really thought i would have MPH faster?? not slower? what ever tune is the same and temps are almost identical and at same track. i went another 11.9 and a 11.88 @ 118 previous was 11.9 @ 120.66? both were 1.7xx 60's?

If you're not running out of gear with the 4.11s then there's no reason to believe that going down in gears numerically will net you a higher trap speed. Higher gearing, more torque multiplication, faster acceleration so usually higher trap speed also.

What gear were you when crossing the traps with the 4.11s vs now?

4th both times. The 4.10's on the street were getting old. And i had the parts and was in there anyways so i thought I would give it a try. Also looking at the time slips of the 11.9 passes with and without 4.10's and similar 60' i was a touch quicker in the 1/8th ans still at 1000 ft but same at end so it is 4th gear where it starts falling off.
