I took it home and cleaned everything up real good after this, and painted the frc's red. It made 336/346 n/a on a dynojet. It feels alot better. See sig for mods.

very nice, also love the fact that you didn't go with the stereotypical corsa exhaust. those borlas look badass and must sound awesome in person

Thanks guys. My favorite part is how quiet it is at a low rpm. No drone on the highway or anything. But from 4,000 and up..... Babies cry

Nice #'s... what kind of headers? My car made 331/339 with the ebay headers, stock midpipe uncatted, and granatelli catback (borla knockoff)

It's a 99.... #'s were a little low because I am still on the stock midpipe, and have the LS1 intake manifold. Apparantly my springs are weak because power started to slowly drop off around 5500rpm. If it kept pulling the way it looked like it was going to I think it would have done 340-345

Stock mid pipe to aftermarket X pipe won't make any difference, you'll pick up about 2rwhp. The reason why your numbers are low is because of the LS1 intake manifold. Swap that to an LS6 manifold (~8rwhp 12rwtq)

Looked like you started it at least once on the straight headers

Looks great!

I don't know how you can conclude if power hadn't dropped off at 5500rpms you would have made 340-345rwhp.

I've heard an exhaust just like this in person and its amazing. I've also heard the same thing with a Borla XR-1 catback (no mufflers), which is deafening.

Only thing I would add is the replacement tunnel shield with the one that has a heat barrier on it. No clue where my buddy got it, but I helped him install it.

Sounds really good and looks good (I like the black on black). How much did it cost to get that whole setup done if you don't mind me asking.
