weird knock coming from engine

there is a weird sound coming from the engine, it sounds like a tazer or some sparks going off. usually sounds when i accelerate, especially if you are going on a higher gear than you are supposed to be. i'm going to check the spark plugs to see if on of them is loose if that is not the problem, is there anything else i should check for?

the sounds seems to come from the plug nearest to the firewall-passanger's side, could be detonation, doubt it is an exhaust leak as the sound comes from the engines itself, don't know what to do
