Weights of the factory wheels

Does anyone know the weight of the factory 17 inch wheels?Aslo looking for a lighter weight alternative in 18 inch that wont break the bank.What are other low cost weight reduction mods that guys are doing?

most of the factory 17" wheels are roughly 25lbs. i remember reading 98 cobra wheels are ~24lbs and 03/04 wheels are ~28lbs. i dont know about the 96-97 cobra wheels.

the easiest way to shed weight is by deleting the front sway bar, and factory amps, etc..

I believe the 96-97 rims are 26 lbs

Easy to take out items

Front Passenger Side Leather Seat 40
Jack and tire iron 7
Rear Leather Seat 46
Spare tire 25

what do you replace your factory amps with? are they that heavy?
