Ever since I went with a friend to have our cars get weight in we always end up talking about the weight of our cars. My friend owns a 2011 Saleen 302 and I own a 2011 Track Pack Premium GT.
When we first went to weight in the cars, his came in at 3740 lbs while mine was 3600 lbs flat. both cars with a full tank of gas. He was really surprised my car was 140 lbs lighter. My car was 100% stock while he had supposedly added full lighter exhaust, headers, and even claimed his 20 inch chrome saleen rims were lighter than stock 19s
After a few months he took off his spare tire, jack and went with 285-30-20 rear and 255-35-20 front. He previously had 305-30-20 rear and 265-35-20 front.
I since then took off the brembo wheels and replace them with 19x11 and 19x9.5 cf5v forgestar wheels while keeping the same 255-35-19 up front but 305-30-19 Nitto invo in the rears. I also added a Borla S axlebacks instead of the stock exhaust.
all said and done this are the bets. Against my friend who owns the Saleen I am betting ten bucks, and against his brother I am betting a chipotle burrito, uac on the side, chips and a drink.
Now on to the claims
I predict MyMustang at 3570 lbs Saleen at 3680 lbs
My friend MyMustang 3590 lbs Saleen at 3667 lbs
Brother MyMustang 3580 lbs Saleen at 3660 lbs
In my signature you can see my car in the middle, the Saleen to the right and his brother's S197 to the left.
