run down of my car: 2009 GT500 with 31k miles

mods: JLT intake, kook long tube headers, ford racing catback exhaust, spec twin disk and flywheel, short shifter and 295/45/18 nitto 555 extremes running like 28 psi with nitrogen.

first run was a 13.2 at 116 with a 2.4, 60'.
second through sixth runs I was a constant 12.39-12.4 with a 2.19-2.2X 60'.

it dynoed at 500 whp on hennesy's dyno at like 5850 rpms, they didn't push them all the way, another guy had a similiar setup and before he added the same long tube headers and made 550 on his custom tune.

this is my second trip to the track the first one I made a pass of 13.2 at 115 and no clue of how to launch coming from an AWD Subaru. I know the car has more in it on it's current setup, hopefully I can get into the 11s with a sticky tire. I'm still here at TX2K12, I'll post the time slips later tonight.

Not to bad. With a sticky tire 11's will be no prob. I had a buddy down there with his GT500 White 07 stripe delet. Loud as hell. Not sure what he made

my thoughts exactly, forgot to put the traps where between 116-118, I'm not wanting a full slick, maybe a NT05R.

definitely possible when I find a spare set of wheels.

yea it'll be a spare set just for the track.... maybe a 305/40 or 45, I don't remember off the top of my head what's the sizes they come in. I just know it's gonna be wide.

That car DEF has 11's in it on a tire!

Fwiw... don't plan on getting a lotta miles out of those nt05s, from what I hear anyways. Decent track tire, horrible rain tire, and half-ass street tire.

Ill get prolly 8-10K out of mine. Just a couple track days. Mostly just street driven.

Toss on a 2.6 pulley and tune!! 11's no prob!!

Why didn't they push it all the way? Isnt the GT500s limiter at 6250?
