I was wondering if anybody knew of a site/company that hires vets. I landed a job when I got out just to get back on my feet, but i'm looking for a career. I just feel l can do way better then where I'm at now.

I know of usjobs.gov. is there anything else?

Prior active duty Security Forces. Currently Aircrew flight equipment in the Air Guard. Thanks guys.

Put up a resume on careerbuilder, monster and get on linked in. If you have a clearance, put all the info about that as well to include poly if applicable. I got hit up by a recruiter from my monster resume and got hired halfway thru the first phone interview. Retired AF Civil Engineer Electrician with TS/SCI clearance.

A lot of the oil field companies here in Houston actively recruit veterans; most of the people I worked with at FMC Technologies were former service members. This may not help you specifically though.

I used ClearanceJobs.com to get hired. I've been working for about 2 years. Was laid off for 3 months in between contracts though. Locale is key for contract jobs.
