Water Pump O-Ring

Alright, I've searched everywhere online and I cannot find a replacement O-Ring for the 4.6. The closest I can find is for 94-95.... will this work? Can I just take it down to autozone and they'll have it there? I was looking for a ford replacement before I take it to the tards at autozone.

Looking it up on Autozone's website, apparently they do have it for our engines, but you'd have to special order it (Felpro) as they don't carry it in stock (Autozone PN# 35478). I'm in need of one myself, I've got coolant leaking from the water pump . But if you do find a Motorcraft part number, be sure to post it up.

make sure its not leaking from the weep hole, as this will indicate a bad water pump

Thanks for the advice man, I just went ahead and purchased another water pump w/ the o-ring anyway. I don't want to take any chances.

Glad you found it. I was about to say that the 95-prior waterpump uses a gasket, not an o-ring.
