Warning about Corbeau seat brackets

If you have corbeua seat brackets or plan on getting these please be advised I had a major malfunction in one.

The locking mechanism is not suitable for its intended purpose as mine had broke free while I was racing, leaving me almost in the back seat with a 5 point harness on and no way to reach the pedals.

I have contacted Corbeau with no response yet.

If you feel anyplay with your seat side to side or if it can pivit just a little be very carefull.

I had the same problem YEARSSSSSS ago. Wiped all the teeth clean off my seat. Swapped seats till i got the reclining mechanism and shortly after a rather large guy with me did the same to my passenger seat. Corbeau sent me new reclining mechs for free . They should take care of you.
