I have a 99 cobra bone stock that I want to s/c...so what parts on my motor would still be salvageable...i would like to just turn it into a 03-04 motor with a kenne bell...

hmm, lets see.
if u want it EXACTLY like an 03, the only think you could keep is your crank and your windage tray along with the front cover and stuff.

if u just wanted an 03 style motor,
new pistons rods, 03 heads, kb, new oil pump with billet gears, head and main studs, new bearings, a new clutch, and some exhaust work. oh yeah, you would need all the intercooler stuff as well.

so the block and crank are the same then right....and would i also need a new flywheel as well..

the crank is
the block is aluminum in your car, iron in the 03. either one is fine for big power.

you don't NEED a new flywheel but if you want an aluminum one then now would be the time.

if you use your existing crank, forged rods, forged pistons, and a P1SC or Novi blower with the stock heads im pretty sure u'll be pretty satisfied over stock....

I wouldn't put 03 cobra zollner pistons in a lawnmower.
you can get a helluva shortblock for 3k
