I'm selling my W140ax 2.3L Whipple. It's a Gen 1 with the oil level window in the front and new Whipple stickers as well as the inlet for a single blade throttle body. It's been on the car since last July, but my car has been sitting since November due to a head gasket so I couldn't have put more than 3k miles (very high estimate) on it.

This blower made excellent power [610 RWHP/565 RWTQ] at only 15.6psi. It will have the 3.5" Whipple pulley on that will come with the blower. It is in excellent condition and has never been spun higher than 15psi.

The price is $2,750.00.

w140ax are you sure that it is a gen 1

From what I understand, late Gen 1 2.3L Whipple's were also called W140ax (according to Whipple). I've also called Whipple to make sure of it's generation via serial number and they assured me that it was in fact a Gen 1.

Hope that helps.

I've also responded to all of the calls, text messages, PM's, and emails. I think I underestimated the demand of the Whipple. LOL I had no idea that so many people would be interested.

i thought the original pulley, 3.5, was only suppose to make around 13 lbs? did you have a lower?

I wonder if he has a two pound lower on there. My Gen 1 with 3.5" and 2# lower makes the same boost. Gen 1 makes 13psi and 2# adds another 2-3psi.

I would love you to send me that tune via .ll3 file and check it out on the dyno. What timing is being run? You can data log it to find out.

Something seems off, 15.6lbs of boost on a stock pulley (3.5) is considerably high, for a gen1 anyhow. Also 610rwhp at only 15.6 lbs is high as well. Most ppl with 17lbs of boost on whipples dont quite go over the 600+ mark. I see alot of 17lb guys (3.0") pulley makin around 580, some reach 600. Course timing and fuel comes into play also but.. just seems high:shrug:

What's the math on a Gen 1 with 2# lower and 3.2" RR upper?

I've got a Metco 4lb. Lower along with the 3.5" upper. Supposed to be good for 17psi with the Gen 1 Whipple, but I lost a couple pounds of boost with the LT's.

I wonder if he has a two pound lower on there. My Gen 1 with 3.5" and 2# lower makes the same boost. Gen 1 makes 13psi and 2# adds another 2-3psi.

This is with 17 degrees of timing.
