what were your dyno results? im piecing together a v-1 s trim on my 03 gt as well... im going with the vortech aftercooler though. shooting for 380-400rwhp. any input? how hard were those drain and feed lines to put in?
I have a CXRacing 4 core intercooler, I make about 11psi @ 6000rpm with a home made powerpipe, and 2.87 pulley. It sees 12.5psi @ 6000rpm in this cold weather.
So I'd say either 3.12 or 2.87 pulley (can always shift early if it makes to much boost)
Dont use the plastic vortech intake. Thats such a huge restriction. Alls I did was a buy a 4" to 3.5" 90 degree silicone coupler from Silicone intakes, then a 4" 45 degree angle aluminum pipe, and a filter on the end of it. And it free'd up about 30rwhp.
Heres a dyno sheet, 378rwhp was plastic Vortech intake, 10psi, and 16* of timing, 379rwhp was 10psi, 16* of timing, and just a filter on the end of the blower
This dyno sheet, 394rwhp was 9.5psi (spark blow out, had to let out), 13* of timing, home made powerpipe. 415rwhp was with meth, which just bumped the timing up to 17* and 11psi.
Dont really have any clean under hood pictures, but heres an idea of the powerpipe

BTW, I live over in the Boston area. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions, or need any help man!
Oh, and one other thing, with a V1 S trim, 3.12 pulley, CXracing 4 core intercooler (4 core has alittle less boost drop then 3 core) I made about 8psi at 6000rpm.
With a 2.87 pulley, I use a Gates 106.6" belt, with a 3.12 pulley, Id either use a Dayco 107.0" (part number 5061070) or Gates 107.35" belt (part number K061073)
I have the stock Vortech pulley on my V1 S-Trim (8psi) and with the power pipe made 10#. Car made 384 RWHP with TFS upper intake, 75mm TB, o/r X, and a cat back. Non intercooled. Lost 1# of boost when I put Longtubes on but never had it dyno'd with them on so I don't know the power effect.
