Vortech V3 - Pulley Noise

Good evening SVT crew!

Having a bit of a weird issue with some idle / pulley noises - video posted below:

It seems to be really only at idle that I can notice it. Doesn't look like the belt is coming off the pulley at all and walking. Could it simply be the belt is too tight? This just cropped up in the last 2 days and the SC has been on about 2 weeks or so.'

Yeah i have a paxton and I've never heard any noise like that. I wouldnt drive it much til you solve the problem!

I've seen a water pump pulley come loose a little about a week after a Paxton install and make noises.

could be the BOV. Having an issue with mine making noise above 1000 rpm

Yeah, that ain't right. Definitely pulley sounds. Use mecahnics ears to see if you can figure out which one is loudest and that'll probably be it. It could be a belt too tight stressing something...or too loose.

Talked to Vortech and their engineers seem to think it is bypass / BOV related.

Disconnect it's vacuum source and run the car then and see how i goes.
