Vortech V2- SQ OPENED UP

I threw a belt and saw the seal was pretty rough. Opened her up to replace it and this is what I found. Why is the bearing on the backside of the housing instead of the shaft? The bearings are still smooth, and quiet and seem to be in good condition, no play at all. I guess Ill call vortech, but I know theyll tell me just to send it out.

Should look like this. Maybe bearing didn't press tight enough on the shaft, thats my only guess. Incorrect inner bearing diameter.

If it rolls smooth, I would get a new seal and put it back together.

When I pulled mine apart that bearing was pressed on the shaft. The bearing also barely fits in that cavity, it's a tight clearance but a clearance none-the-less.

Called vortech and they heat the housing before removal. Got the seal out and will replace and put it all back together tomorrow.
