How does a air to water aftercooler work?

Basically like a heat exchanger. Its a standalone system. Tank is where the battery normally sits. Has an intercooler pump and a cooler behind the bumper to cool the fluids. You can then see the lines running into the air cooler before the TB. Its webbed like a radiator. Air flows through there and passes through the cool liquid which in turn lowers intake air temperature. Cooler IATs = More power, and much safer then blowing hot air from the blower straight into the engine.
