vortech lx fox vs. pullied cobra vs. bolt on 00 cobra r

Mods are:

90lx: stock Tb to oil pan. Strim on 7 psi, 3.73s, off road hpipe, and some flows.

04 cobra: pulley, filter, tune, hpipe, and catback.

Cobra r: intake, tune, exhaust, and 4.30s.

45 roll. Lx and cobra started in 2nd and the cobra r started in 3rd. Both cobras spun for a little and I had the lead till 4th and they were both pretty even through 4th. Lx was back about 1.5 cars.

We were cruising home from a Chevy car show and the weather was perfect. Just kinds happened, something you don't see every day! Cobra r runs 11.20 at 120mph for reference.

I don't know why your fox is running anywhere close to that Cobra R, then. That thing should have eaten a stock 5.0 with 7psi alive.

For reference, my twin turbo fox with 9.5 psi and GT40X heads, + GT40 intake ran 119mph in the 1/4.

4.30s and stock tires from 2000 don't mesh well. He started in third, but that car still.spins easy in 3rd. Tires are to old. I was on 555r's which is plenty for a roll. Mph doesn't play a roll. Ive seen stock longblock foxes go 117 with an strim

Gotcha - traction.

I know an S-trim can push 400+ hp without an issue, just a question of how much boost it would take - don't think it would happen at 7psi.

I'm always rooting for the foxbody, anyway. Good race.

You are def right, the car just passes the 300 benchmark on the dyno lol. Its a quick 300hp.
