I'm working on my brothers car, 96 Cobra with crower cams and a built bottom end. Had a S trim and aftercooler and sent the S trim to get upgraded to a T trim. Between the power pipe and the aftercooler there isn't much room up in the front passenger side of the car. And now since we are planning on running somewhere around 15 psi, the little blastic bypass valve is no good so i'm gonna run a vortech mini race bypass........but there isn't really any room for it. I'm wondering if anyone has any first hand knowledge that it's even worth keeping the intercooler set-up or just ditch it altogether. I'm aiming for about 525 rwhp. Using stock 6 rib setup with a RR 3.2" pulley.
thanks

Keep the aftercooler and get yourself a fluidyne heat exchanger instead of the vortech piece. My aftercooler is cool to the touch when cruising around, while my blower is well into the 150+ degree range.
