vortech 96-97/ vortech 98?

i've been looking around for the best deal on an S trim for my 96. i've been looking around at new kits but if the right used one came along, i wouldn't turn it down. i found a guy selling one off of his 98, and i'm waiting for him to give me a price. every website has kits for 96-97s and then a seperate kit for a 98. what would it take for a kit from one car to work on the other? in other words, if i were to buy this kit, what would i need for it to fit my car? thanx in advance.

There shouldn't be any difference from a 96-98. When I bought mine used it came off of a 97 and bolted right on to me 98.

I'm selling my complete aftercooler, let me know if your interested.

The only thing I can think of is the fuel system. 98's don't have the same style pump.

They probably list different part numbers because they come with different chips for the '96-97 vs. '98 computers.
