Vortech 5.0 vs modded GT500

Here soon I will be adding some mods to the car and decided to call out one of the locals just to get a baseline of where I stand. Now from what I was told the GT500 made over 800 hp/tq on race gas and nitrous (not sure about all the mods done). When we met he said it was on his pump gas tune but I could've sworn my friend and I smelled something else... It was a fun race and hopefully will be doing it again. Enjoy the video.

An 800hp gt500 is a 140+ trap car, I bet he had a pulley and tune only (or even stock) by the way you pulled him. Your car should be high 120s low 130s.

I had a passenger as he did the countdown. 589whp - 8lbs

Good kill but it definitely sounded like an M122 right after 1st to 2nd shift. Maybe he shoots a 150 or 200 shot on a basic bolt-on/pulley Eaton.
