As some of you guys may have noticed, the 2011-2014 RTR wheels are out of stock pretty much everywhere.

Word on the street is that VMR produced the wheels on behalf of RTR...and a quick look at their web page turns up another extremely similar looking wheel, available in our 5x114.3 bolt pattern in 19"x9.5"...only no charcoal finish and no mention of the offset (which would be 33mm if they're the same as the RTRs).

So what do you think? Are these the same? I called VMR and the guy I talked to couldn't (or wouldn't??) tell me.

Man, those silver ones are really catching my eye 19x11 would look siiiiick in the rear. What are the prices? They look essentially the same, but who knows what could be going on.

I wish VMR offered their other wheel models for mustang specs. They would probably make more from the Mustang Aftermarket than their Audi and BMW aftermarket combined.

T's,
IIRC the 19x9.5s were ~$250 each...so even cheaper than the RTR branded version.

What size tire would you run on 19x11?

Any more insight on this?
I'd love to see what a set of dolphin grey V710s look like...

The idea of a 305 tire make me tingle.

I've been selling VMR Wheels for almost 8 years now, so I know pretty much everything inside and out about VMR. They originally made the VMR V710 and a few other manufacturers like RTR caught on and decided to make their own version as well. I've owned 4 sets of VMR's myself on previous cars in the past, never had an issue and they're priced very well too. They do make them in 5x114.3 (aka 5x4.5), which will work but on our cars I think we might need a hub ring. Fitments though because they're in 5x114.3 were originally made with JDM cars in mind. Here's the fitments they have in 5x114.3 that would bolt up to a Mustang in no particular order, I'm just running down the inventory list:

19x8.5 ET35
19x9.5 ET22
19x10 ET25
19x11 ET25

So the fitment isn't really ideal for Mustangs, they're aggressive fitment for sure. VMR also has a custom barrel program where they have other sizes/offsets available, they just need to drill for bolt pattern, and possibly shave some of the offset down too on these:

19x11 ET25-ET35
18x8.5 ET45
18x8.5 ET35
18x9.5 ET45
19x8.5 ET45
19x8.5 ET35
18x9.5 ET33
19x9.5 ET45
19x10 ET25
20x9 ET35
20x10 ET45

Hope that helps, but if you guys have any questions, let me know!

How much to get the width / offset you want?

19x9 +30
19x11 +55

Can't decide between 18 or 19s at the moment but I'm fairly certain those widths and offsets would be nice

Great info!! Perhaps you should give them a call and ask why they have utterly uninformed folks working the phones! :)
Any pics of your wheels would be welcome.

Honestly the only fitment with a range of offset is that first 19x11 Et25-Et35, the other options you see below that fitment can be drilled to order meaning I can drill a 5x114.3 or 5x120 bolt pattern or whatever it's needed for, but they can't machine them down beyond those offsets just plainly because of structural rigidity issues.

There are a few guys over there who know what they're doing, I think they were just surprised to be talking to something with a Mustang since they started 10 years ago as a BMW company only, then moved to VW/Audi, and the 5x114.3 JDM fitments is just something they added within the last year. I'm sure some guys had no idea that the 5x4.5 bolt pattern we run is also 5x114.3.
