Took the car to the track last night in the FL heat to see what the changes would net. Ended up putting in a 2C converter, some Viking shocks and a VMP Ice tank. Previous P.B. was 10.28 @136.. but was a consistent 10.35-.40 car. That was back in March at Bradenton.

So I loaded my VMP street tune and...

The last run the car hit the limiter on the 3-4 shift. This is without the RPM Patch which I'm sure will put me easily in the 9's even in the heat. Working on a video now. Scales were broken but car usually weighs in right around 3950 with me in it. Big thanks to Alex from VMP for the tuning support

Stock bottom end? A tvs paired with the 6r80 is a great combo. If you could please post up your entire set up. You will pick up a few tenths in the cooler air, on my 04 with a TVS you could feel the car pick up in cooler air.

nice times! Low 10's is where I'm trying to get to. What were your 60 foot times before the converter?

Why comp N/A cams?

I am looking at having my engine built, rods and pistons, IF it does not exceed my budget. If it does I will be going '15 short block.

'15 and up cars are making mid 700 to over 800 RWHP. I honestly believe these will survive at 800 all day long. My goal is 9.50 in better air in true daily driver trim

Best 60' was a 1.61 but usually mid/high 1.6's. I picked up the cams for super cheap so I figured, why not. I do not have limiters on the intake side, only the exhaust.

G3 is an S550 car owned by sheldon lewis and it went 9.30's i believe on stock long block before it let go but it had twins on it. He told me 750-800 max on stock 15 longblock to stay safe but that is still a 100hp bump over the known safe limit for the 12 long block.

Can you put a 15 short block in these cars and use everything else off an 11 to 14 or is there other stuff that needs to be changed?
