Now that we're back from Bowling Green, here's the poop. The car makes just over 400 tire through the automatic. It has 3.55 gears. We have work to do ironing out the 60' because it simply wouldn't launch. We'll have it by the end of the week. In the meantime...let's talk about what we learned in it's first outing: It had never been on the track. Only a few street pulls and dyno work. We are partnering with FFTEC on configuring and tuning this kit. It is a Borg Warner ERF7670 turbo, FFTEC charge pipe and downpipe. We are using Cobb for a tuning platform. The 7670 supports a ton of power, however it's not going to spool nearly as quickly as the stock unit, nor a smaller aftermarket unit. It comes on around 3500 and is full tilt at 4000. Until we get the 60 issue worked out, this thing is the ultimate roll race sleeper!! It WILL put you back in your seat. Stock injectors and pumps. Methanol injection to supplement the fuel supply. 93 octane. Stock auto trans. 25.5" 555R's on the back. Full weight high trap speed was 116mph 3 different times, so it's repeatable and consistent. With a sub 2.00 60' it's a very easy 11 second car. BUT...out 60's were more in the 2.10 range. There were other autos cutting 1.70s but not with nearly this much torque, so we have work to do with the calibration. Charge temps were kept in line thanks to the Levels Performance intercooler. That's it for now. Days of crappy weather and long road trips now give way to some regular duties. The car will return for Pony Wars in 2 weeks. Oh...and hats off to svtperformance.com and the other EcoBoost competitors for a great event, lots of fun and bringing the Eco platform to the forefront. Congrats to our friends at UPR for the win! bj
