Been trying to do some research on the vmp & j2fab. Plan on installing the new whipple this fall or winter and wanted to upgrade intercooler. Prices on both setups look to be around the same amount? Whats everyones thoughts between the 2? Thanks

I'm currently running a VMP intercooler and it was good for about a 20 degree drop across the board. That was with stock lines and pump. Now I'm running the GT500 pump and it seems to recover faster.

I have the J2FAB set up sitting on the shelf to install.

J2fab IC and flow mod/Department of boost GT500 HE/J2Fab engine mount tank with an EMP.

I've been lazy about relocating the battery.......... Post up your results when you are all dialed in. Curious to see how it compares.

Yes, this fall or winter. Im still on stock eaton with pulley & tune currently. While apart thought id go ahead and do intercooler. Already have fuel system and injectors for the swap. Probably go MS3PRO also. Ill get in touch with VMP and go ahead and pull the trigger on their intercooler. Thanks

Both are good intercoolers. VMPs are made by PWR in Australia. J2Fab's is made in Merica by J2Fab. I think only the J2Fab has the bigger lines that can help with flow if you are going all the way that route (bigger lines, bigger pump, bigger tank). I think you will be well off with either just match to your plans.

Yes but that was because I preordered and had to wait through R&D. Now that R&D is over the wait is not that long. I ordered a pair of shoes around the same time and still waiting on them. I got to quit preordering things...

The MS3Pro has been a blast. A learning curve for me but I love it.

The VMP intercooler is made with the bigger lines already built in. You actually have to buy the reducing o-ring tubes if you're using the stock IC cap and stock size lines with the VMP intercooler.
