Well was at the track launching at about 4k and ended up breaking the mainshaft. Long story short tore it all apart and looking at doing the 30 spline upgrade. Has anyone on here done this without using D&Ds' extension housing? Ive been doing some research and have found the LS1 guys have been doing it and having the extension housing machined and saving a good chunk of cash. Just wondering if anyone has done it and if so, if they would mind giving the specs of the machining that needed to be done? I would greatly appreciate and feel it would be helpful for others looking to do this and save a nice chunk of cash.
