First I should say I have a sony dcr-trv19. I don't know if the model number will help with any of this but I thought I'd throw it out there. My video camera will work on camera mode, but when I go to turn it to vcr mode it just shows the blue screen. No tape code, time or anything. I thought it might just be the tape but I've tried recording and playing back several other tapes and those aren't working either. Is it just time to buy a new one or is there something i'm missing? Thanks
