My grandpa has been staying at my house a bit and he dropped by today to give me his rifle that he had for years, I love old rifles like these its like catching time in history.
Its a 1873 Springfield Single shot rifle, I dont really know what model, if anyone recognizes it please lemme know.

Yea i want to get some .45 shells and see if this thing still shoots true. I found a little more info on it apparently its a 1873 Allin Springfield Trapdoor, instresting side note its the same type of rifle used by Geronimo and his men at the battle of little big horn. (custers last stand for those who didnt know)
