I just got back from my second visit to Las Vegas. Had an awesome time staying at Mandalay Bay, going to clubs, great restaurants, gambling, etc. However, the best part of the trip was heading out about 15 mins away to an indoor gun range. The place was a little pricey but well worth it condisering how fast you can blow it on the tables at the casino. For $150 we got to shoot a M-16 Commando 9mm, MP5-9mm, 12 gauge shotgun, and an Ingram MAC-10 w/supressor. Each guns had two rounds (clips) that we got to unload on paper targets. All in all it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it. They had the .50 caliber there but that was way too much to shoot and quite frankly I really dont want any business shooting that in an indoor range. Here is their site if you are interested. PS- Great pictures on their site!

Unless you were shooting an m1 garand I doubt the guns had "clips".

Im sorry but thats a huge pet peeve for me. Glad you had fun though.

My co-worker did that last year on his first trip to Vegas, said it was well worth the money. I've been many times and still haven't tried the gun range yet.

That's a new place then.
There's a place that also does that - big tourist attraction - just 3 miles east along Tropicana.. The Gun Store... http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/

I've been there before and it was good.
Last time I was in Vegas in February I went to go and they were all out of ammo for pistols - unfortunately most of us there wanted to fire a pistol, so we ended up leaving anyways as there was a long line.

I'll be sure to try out this place next time I'm there.
