I'm rebuilding the engine in my 99 Cobra and I want to install new cams on the 03/04 heads that I'm upgrading too. I already have the OTC 6498 kit to align the crank and hold the cams in place. Here is what I plan to do.

1. Bolt the heads in place.
2. Bolt down the cams. (no degreeing)
3. Align the crank using OTC tool.
4. Turn the cams (96-98 Cobra Cams) to the 6 o'clock position.
5. Install the secondary chain and gears for the cams (not around the crank)
6. Install tensioners for the secondary chains
6. Install the followers
7. Install the primary chains
8. Install primary tensioners

Has anyone used this valve spring tool?:http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/191818076680?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

I'm looking to find the cheapest tool, short of a flat head screw driver, to install the cams.
Also, since this is my first time installing cams from scratch on this motor feel free to critique my procedure. I looked over the aluminator Gibtec build but I could not find a good depiction of follower installation.

Thanks!
