so I called comp because I felt I had some valve train issues.
long story short I believe I had some valve control issues. I have ferrea competition plus intake and exhaust valves f1450p & f1451p. the springs were only about 80 on the seat and 225 open @ 1.430 install height. the springs and retainers are crower. crower said to just shove a .030 thou shim under the spring. I didn't feel comfortable with this and the machine shop said not to do it.
cam specs
GRIND FO4 268/270HR115+5
DUR @ .050 230/228
LIFT .475/.475 W/1.8 RR
LSA 115
INT C/L 110
283ci motor
t56
76mm single precision turbo
car made right at 1000 rwhp on 25psi
788 rwhp with 16psi
they recommend this sprig 26125 but after looking at their website it appears the install height is way off...
so what springs are you guys running with high boost to control the valve train?
im so pissed off because I already ordered the springs and retainers Friday afternoon and will need to cancel the order Monday morning asap.
