I just sandblasted my stock ones then went to a part store and bought some black wrinkle spray paint. They have lasted for a few years and still look great.

Thats what I was originally planning on doing with my valvecovers when I had them powdercoated, a black crinkle finish. And then when I saw a sample in person I didn't like it. Just wasn't my thing. That and I was also told their distributor didn't have any that was made for an automotive type application and they would have to use an interior powdercoat, and weren't 100% sure on what sort of durability it would have, or what might happen with the color, on that sort of application and under that kind of heat.
